MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s visit to Russia is a landmark event, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
“This is the first visit of the King of Saudi Arabia to Russia in the history of our relations, which in itself is a very significant event. Our relations have a fairly big history,”
Putin said at a meeting with the king.
The Russian president expressed hope that the visit would contribute to the development of bilateral ties.
