Vladimir Putin offers Argentina assistance in finding lost submarine

(RT) – President Vladimir Putin has offered assistance in tracking the missing ARA San Juan submarine in a phone call with his Argentinian counterpart Mauricio Macri, the Kremlin has said.

“It’s was agreed that the ministries of the two countries will maintain contacts on the issue,” it said.

Putin expressed words of encouragement to Macri over the Argentinian sub, which has been missing since November 15 with 44 sailors on board.
