The people powered review website TripAdvisor has named Russia’s national air carrier, Aeroflot as the Best in Europe.
Aeroflot also won awards for Best Business Class and Best Airline in Russia.
Aeroflot was fist founded in the Soviet Union in 1923 and rapidly expanded operations after the Great Patriotic War.
In addition to passenger flights, Aeroflot also has used its aircraft for heavy cargo transport, air ambulances and special VIP fights for heads of state.
Aeroflot’s current fleet has recently been modernised combining today’s amenities with the legendary Aeroflot ethos.
The TripAdvisor survey saw Aeroflot beat out major western carriers including Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, KML and Turkish Airlines.

It also has the most beautiful soundtrack – gorgeous music – on their commercial currently on RT
First time I heard it I was elsewhere in the house. I came running to the tv to find out what this gorgeous music represented and it was Aeroflot. Very well done!!! A class act.!!

It’s a certainty American air transportation companies are not on the “great flights” list. Greyhound and Trailways bus services provided better travel experiences, in their day, than the likes of DELTA, UNITED, AMERICAN, etc. Listen: dirty smelly lavoritories, unclean isles, soiled cramped seats, overpriced sandwiches, unintelligible intercom, snooty in-flight attendants, filthy windows, late and overbooked flights.
Most Americans will probably never fly AEROFLOT, but surely they are better than United, et al..
