MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday expressed his condolences in connection with the mass shooting in Las Vegas and said that he was shocked by the tragedy.

“I am shocked by the tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas. This crime shocks with its atrocity and cynicism,”

Medvedev wrote on Facebook.

“Russia shares the sorrow of those who have lost their family members and friends, conveys to them words of sympathy and support. We wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.”
