MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A Central Asian national pleaded guilty on Friday to planning terrorist attacks in Moscow and Moscow region on September 1, a Sputnik correspondent reported from a Moscow court.
FSB officials said that the detainees were members of the terrorist group Daesh, banned in Russia. One of those detained intended to detonate himself in a crowd, the FSB added.
“I plead guilty … It is not my fault, I am sorry,”
the defendant said.
